Wrought Iron Garden Obelisk
A four-sided pyramid obelisk in hand-finished wrought iron, designed as a climbing plant support that doubles as a garden sculpture. Push the legs into soil and train clematis, sweet peas, morning glory, or any climbing plant up the frame.
The form is inspired by 18th-century English garden obelisks — those elegant vertical structures that add height and architecture to a flower bed even in winter when the plants are dormant. The iron has a matte black finish with subtle rust-through highlights that suggest age.
At 150cm, it provides a strong vertical element in a garden bed or large planter. When a climbing plant fills it in summer, it becomes a living column of greenery and flowers.
