Wooden Plate Display Rack
A wall-mounted wooden plate rack in distressed dark walnut finish. Holds up to six plates or platters ranging from 15cm to 28cm in diameter, displayed at a slight tilt so the faces are visible.
Plate racks were a kitchen staple in farmhouses and country homes across Europe and North America — a practical way to store and dry dishes that also happened to put your best china on display. This version is built for display rather than drying, with shallow grooves that hold plates securely.
Made from solid pine with a hand-applied distressed walnut stain. The distressing exposes lighter wood at edges and corners, mimicking decades of use.
