Brass Sunburst Mirror

A sunburst mirror with antiqued brass rays radiating from a small convex centre mirror. The convex glass catches and reflects light from wide angles, making it work harder than a flat mirror of the same size.

Sunburst mirrors were a staple of mid-century and Art Deco interiors, but the form dates back much further — to the ornate gilded examples found in 18th-century French salons. This version is scaled for modern rooms and finished in a warm antiqued brass that avoids the shiny-new look.

Hang it in a grouping with other wall décor, above a small table, or on a narrow wall that needs a focal point.
